TONIC WATER BOTTLE
Waterhole Tonic Water Bottle
Project Details:
Our team designed and developed a custom glass bottle for Waterhole Tonic, creating a distinctive packaging solution that reflected the brand’s premium positioning and visual identity. The project focused on translating the brand’s unique character into a functional and manufacturable bottle design suitable for large-scale production using glass blow moulding processes.
The design process began with an exploration of Waterhole Tonic’s existing brand language, packaging, and market positioning. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s visual elements, we generated a range of bottle concepts that explored different forms, proportions, and detailing while maintaining strong shelf presence and brand recognition. Each concept was evaluated for aesthetics, ergonomics, manufacturability, and production feasibility.
Following concept selection, the preferred design was further refined and fully engineered for production in soda-lime glass. Detailed consideration was given to wall thickness, draft angles, embossing opportunities, and manufacturing requirements to ensure the bottle could be efficiently produced using glass blow moulding processes while maintaining the desired visual quality and structural performance.
The result is a distinctive and highly manufacturable bottle design that reinforces the Waterhole Tonic brand identity while delivering a premium consumer experience. The final product combines strong visual appeal with practical production requirements, creating packaging that stands out on the shelf and supports the brand’s presence within the competitive FMCG market.
