Splash Baby Teether Range
Project Details:
Our team collaborated with UK-based design company Dandid Ltd to develop a range of silicone baby teethers for Brother Max. The project focused on transforming concept sketches into fully manufacturable designs using compression moulding processes.
The design process began with a series of concept illustrations supplied by Dandid Ltd, featuring playful and engaging shapes inspired by fruit and marine life. Working from these initial sketches, we refined and engineered each design to meet manufacturing, material, while maintaining the intended aesthetic appeal.
A key aspect of the project was the development of designs specifically suited to silicone compression moulding. Careful consideration was given to part geometry, material thickness, mouldability, and product durability to ensure consistent manufacturing quality and user safety. Throughout the development process, we worked closely with manufacturing partners to optimise the designs, address production requirements, and ensure the final products were produced in accordance with the design specifications.
The range successfully translated the original design concepts into high-quality manufactured products that are safe for infant use.
